“Dear PoPville,

I was with my 12-year-old daughter at Fleet Feet on Columbia Road (1841 Columbia Rd NW) around 3:30 pm yesterday (Sunday) when a group of 4 or 5 teens walked in and asked a few questions about shoes and other items — and then suddenly grabbed a bunch of stuff and ran out. It was jarring.

The Fleet Feet staff did not pursue the teens, though two police officers showed up a few minutes later. I know you’ve been documenting the vandalism in Adams Morgan so I figured I’d add this incident to the list. It was a sad moment in my otherwise wonderful neighborhood.”
