“The old guard seemed to do the job just fine without a whistle. PLEASE help!”

“Dear PoPville,

Not sure if this is bothering anyone else- but we appear to have a new traffic guard/director in the morning at the intersection of Columbia Rd and 17th. Someone is normally out there directing cars and pedestrians, but this new guy won’t stop whistling at every single car and person. It is INCESSANT. From 7 am to about 9-10 am it is non-stop every 2 seconds.

I can’t fathom having to wake up to this ear piercing whistling every day for the rest of my lease, or trying to work through it too (as I have to wfh). Not trying to sound crazy- I just didn’t know the sound of a whistle blowing for hours on end could make me feel this crazy. Does anyone know if there’s someone to contact to make a complaint? The old guard seemed to do the job just fine without a whistle. PLEASE help!”
