My 4 unit condo building has had the same local trash collection service provider for ~6 years, but within the last year the service has become inconsistent to the point of serious concern. While we’re supposed to have trash picked up twice a week, we now have had multiple situations arise where the trash isn’t collected for close to two weeks.
The most recent issue is related to bulk items for haul away that, despite scheduling and assurances, has been sitting outside for over three weeks. I am starting to get nervous the city will fine us and the provider keeps assuring me they are coming out.
Do people have good recommendations for trash service? We are at our wit’s end and as it’s one of our building’s biggest expenses every month we’d love to get better service.“
