Our water usage for our townhouse has tripled, from 10 CCF a month to almost 30 CCF. This has also raised our monthly water bill to $500 a month!
We don’t have any obvious sources of increased water usage, like a running toilet or a new family member, but I feel like there must be some explanation beyond the water we know we’re using for showers, laundry, etc.
Does DC Water have any programs to help diagnose the source of water usage? Are there any plumbers people recommend for this kind of work? Anyone have a similar experience? Thank you!”
