I’m a new DC resident, after living in the suburbs in recent years. It looks like DC seems to require dog licensing, but does anyone actually get a license for their dog?
Is there enforcement if you don’t? I’ve mentioned DC dog licensing to a few local dog owners and no one seems to know about it. (And before anyone asks, I always keep my dog on leash on city streets and paths, always pick up her poop, and carefully prevent other potentially offensive doggy behaviors).”
