From a press release:

“February 2 is National Tater Tot Day, and Calico, urban backyard in Blagden Alley known for its crispy tots, is celebrating the food holiday with a one-night-only Build-Your-Own Tater Tot Bar and Happy Hour from 4-8pm featuring $2 off draft beer.

Calico opened in 2017, and introduced a creative tater tot menu in 2019, ranging from crab tots, disco tots (poutine-esque), loaded tots (with bacon, mozz & sour cream), egg-topped tots (brunch special), and classic crispy tots. They’ve since become a staple of the backyard bar’s menu, and are now being celebrated on National Tater Tot Day.

On Thursday, February 2 from 4-8pm, Calico will debut a special one-night-only Build-Your-Own Tater Tot Bar: a $10 fill-to-its-limit bowl which can be stacked with crispy tots and a large assortment of more than 15 toppings. Guests can adorn their tots with everything from hearty queso, vegetarian chili, homemade gravy and bacon bits, to shredded cheeses, sauces (ranch, hot sauce, salsa rojo and verde, sour cream), and veggies (pickled or fresh jalapenos, chives and onion).

Calico will also offer $2 off draft beer during the happy hour.

Calico will be open for walk-ins, first-come first-serve, from 4pm to midnight.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
