“Dear PoPville,

I was an Au Pair in Washington DC from January 2019-April 2019. When I lived there I had a couple dates with a super cute guy but when I moved away we lost contact and I know it was a long time ago but I would love to find him again and see if we can rekindle the friendship we had! My name is Lea and I currently live in Austria.

I don’t remember his name but we did meet on bumble. We went on two dates I think and he was super sweet showing me around DC. We went to the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, National Mall. He took a couple very great photos of me at the World War II Memorial – in front of the Massachusetts Pillar. We also took a couple cute pictures together – in front of the White House and Lincoln Memorial! For dinner we went to a cute Italian restaurant and shared Spaghetti Bolognese and a salad. He was wearing a very big ring – I think it was an alumni ring I am not sure from which college though. Also he is Asian. While sitting at the National Mall we were joking around and he was able to tell me a couple phrases in German as well – I was very impressed and took a video of him. We had such a fun time!

That is all I know unfortunately!
So fingers crossed I can find him with your help!”

Ed. Note: If this is you, please email [email protected] so I can put you in touch with OP. PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, many have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made. Dulles to San Diego flight MC was made!

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
