“Dear PoPville,

You sat in the aisle row next to me on the United morning flight on November 12 from Dulles to San Diego and asked me if I was attending the neuroscience conference to which I replied and said I was not but then proceeded to joke around with you about how frustrated the flight attendants were by the number of posters on board and how half the passengers were neuroscientists. You were writing a paper on

consciousness the entire flight that I could not understand (but definitely found sexy). I told you about my health history of migraines and you shared how you do visual perception research at NIH but almost joined the team studying migraine auroras, which I suffer from. You were wearing climbing shoes, grey hiking pants, a face mask, and were tall and brunette. I didn’t give you my number because I assumed you probably had a girlfriend and when we landed and waited to deplane, I was nervous because our 100% full flight would have heard everything. You ended by saying, “Well see you in DC,” to which I awkwardly said, “Ya, let me know if you find a migraine cure!”

PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, many have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made.
