Wanted to pass along a fundraiser for a previous coworker of mine. Her 13 year old son was shot and killed last week in Hillcrest Heights (PG County) as he was outside their house raking leaves. The family is asking for donations to help with legal expenses to hopefully find the perpetrator and bring them to justice. Absolutely heartbreaking.”
The fundraiser says:
“Greetings to all,
On the evening of November 8th 2022, our son Jayz was senselessly shot in the head while raking leaves in our front yard. Our Jayz is a loving gentle child. His only squabbles are with his little sister Aaliyah over video games.
Jayz is in the Children’s Hospital fighting for his life right now. We are appealing to you to help us find justice for Jayz. We are asking for your help with legal and investigative expenses. We will not stop until justice is served. Your contribution towards this venture will be greatly appreciated.
