My in-laws want to rent in DC proper to be closer to their grandchildren. This would be their first time living in a city but would not be their primary residence. They are looking to rent a townhouse or large apartment in an area with decent walkability and safety.
They’ve so far looked at developments by Catholic University, Union Market, the old Walter Reed, and the townhomes in Dakota Crossing (near Costco).
Anywhere else we should recommend they look?”
