I’d love to know if any readers have a sense of what’s up with the school and its fire alarms at 10th and V NW? It seems like they’re extremely sensitive or something, but basically, for the last month, every few days or so (or at one point, consecutive days), the very loud fire alarms just go off for seemingly no reason.
This didn’t used to happen. Firetrucks have shown up a few times, investigated, and left, and I understand multiple neighbors have been calling 311 and emailing our DC Councilmember, but no one seems to have any idea.”
