I live in Shaw, and there is a dog owner in the neighborhood with two big Great Danes – one has a black and white coat, and the other is all black. I have seen him walking both dogs off leash in residential sidewalks. Sometimes he has one dog on leash, and the other off leash. One of the dogs is not neutered (probably because he is not yet old enough), and sometimes that dog is the one off leash. Other neighbors have also noticed this guy with his two Great Danes, sometimes off leash.
Sometimes he is “training” them while walking them down the street by scolding them / yelling at them. Is there someone you can report this to, that can take action? It’s possible both dogs are very gentle but they are frankly huge, and the whole off leash situation makes me very uncomfortable, especially since I have a big dog of my own that sometimes barks at other dogs during walks (mine is always leashed though). Would love to hear ideas from the community.”
