From a press release:

Coasters, the wine, liquor, and beer store bringing the alcohol buying experience into the modern era, will celebrate the opening of its first retail location by holding events throughout the month of September at its newly opened Washington, DC store at 3614 Georgia Avenue NW.

After a months-long renovation of its 9,000 square foot store, Coasters is prepared to serve customers in Park View/Petworth and throughout the District with their digitally-enabled shopping experience, expansive selection of products across all price points, and an on-demand, one-hour delivery service.

Coasters offers one of the largest arrays of wine, spirits and beers in the DC-metro area; including premium whiskeys, bourbons and tequilas, as well as a diverse selection of craft beer, and more than 1,000 wines from around the world. The store offers convenient and personalized service in-store and online through the Coasters app (iOS/Android) or www.coastersliquors.com.

“Our mission is to provide value and convenience to our customers. To us, that means amazing service paired with the widest range of products at the most competitive prices.” said Mike Berkoff, the store’s owner. “It’s clear that Petworth residents share our passion, and we look forward to connecting with the city as a whole with our eCommerce channels, quick and free delivery, curated selection and knowledgeable staff.”

As part of its formal September launch, Coasters has commissioned noted DC artist JD Deardourff to develop street art that will distinguish its Georgia Avenue location. Deardourff will paint a mural on the store’s facade the week of September 5th.

Coasters is also the official retail partner of Arte Agave, the agave spirits, art and entertainment event occurring in Logan Circle on September 9th. Coasters team members will be there serving cocktails, hosting tastings and fulfilling delivery orders generated by participating brands. In connection with that activation, numerous agave, tequila and mezcal tastings will occur in the new Georgia Avenue store and Coasters is offering significant discounts on a variety of liquors, wine and beers throughout the fall.

Opening events (complimentary) that are currently scheduled for September include:

September 8th, 9th and 10th
Unveiling of Georgia Avenue street art by JD Deardourff.
Ilegal mezcal in-store tasting with drinks prepared by noted DC bartenders
Additional free tastings of Heradura, Onda, Modelo, and Hotaling
Maestro Tequilero Jose Valdez of Tequila Partida in Jalisco, Mexico will be at the Georgia Avenue Coasters to discuss agave harvesting and distillation and to conduct tastings
Noted DC mixologists will create drinks with Don Julio, Tequila Honor El Bujo, and Mezcal
Distillers & noted mixologists offering tastings of Patron, Cincoro, Avion, Promimo and more.

September 15th, 16th and 17th
In-store tasting with DC’s award winning Right Proper Brewing Company
In-store tasting and info session with Capitol Cider House, a neighbor of Coasters that hand crafts hard ciders with modern flavors and zero sugar
In-store tasting and info session with Republic Restoratives Distillery, a small batch, women-owned distillery and craft cocktail bar located in the heart of Washington, DC

Ryan Cho, Manager of Coasters DC said: “My staff and I are super impressed with the craft beverage and cocktail scene that surrounds our store. Having some of these makers in-store is a natural way for us to embrace the neighborhood and build connections. We are also excited to be connecting with folks all over DC since we offer free delivery across town for all orders over $50.”

In addition to its Arte Agave activation and its in-store and neighborhood events in September, Coasters has partnered with DC Wine Fest in October and Whiskey Washback in November.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
