“Join us this Sunday, September 18 for the 8th Annual Celebrate Petworth from 11am-5pm on the 800 Block of Upshur Street NW. This free annual festival is organized by and for the residents of Petworth–celebrating the creativity, diversity, culture, and people of Petworth and its surrounding neighborhoods.

60+ artisans, vendors, and exhibitors
Free learn to skate clinic for kids and grown-ups provided by Skate Instruction
Seed starting station, provided by Petworth Ace Hardware
Kids Zone with all-day programming–including face painting (sponsored by Peter Fortner of TTR | Sotheby’s International Realty), arts and crafts, movement, and music. This year’s Kids Stage experiences include Teatro de la Luna, Mr. Rob’s Music Time, salsa for kids with Salsa with Silvia, Sing Books with Emily, and Baba Ras D “The Harambee Experience.
