I was wondering if the community has any suggestions for exercise opportunities that are intentionally welcoming to plus-sized people in DC.
A lot of gyms and studios say they’re body positive, which is wonderful, but I’m usually the only plus-sized person there! That’s not quite the environment I’m looking for; I’d love to find more of a plus-sized exercise community. I’d be open to plus-sized workout instructors, classes designed for plus-sized people, whatever’s out there (“there” being in DC, not MD or VA!).”
