“PERCH X MAYDAN (AUGUST POP UP SUPPER CLUB) All proceeds go to Womens Health. Dinner and Wine included.”

The first Perch Supper Club

From an email:

“Perch Supper Club is a new & intimate dining experience in Washington DC from Chef Sam Molavi and Spencer Launer. Each dinner pairs seasonal ingredients with delicious wine, music, and company. All proceeds will go to non-profits that are changing the world.

Our first Perch Supper Club kicked off in Brookland, as we gathered 20 people in our garden for an early summer feast with proceeds benefitting World Central Kitchen (see images below). This month we are taking over the hearth at the beautiful Maydan space for our August Supper Club & are looking forward to share another delicious summer menu cooked over an open fire. Proceeds from this month’s dinner will benefit Whole Woman’s Health, an organization providing critical access and care to women seeking abortions. The Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has stripped women across the nation of fundamental rights guaranteed to them for decades. Whole Woman’s Health is working hard to ensure women can continue to make decisions in the best interest of their health and well-being. For more information, visit here.

Chef Sam Molavi has run the kitchens of DC’s most acclaimed restaurants including St. Vincent, St. Anselm, Ripple, Compass Rose, Bibiana, and many more. Sam and Spencer met working at Ripple and have enjoyed creating unique dining experiences for friends and family since. Danny Fisher of locally based French wine importer, Wine Traditions, will provide pairings from small family owned organic wineries.

A $175 minimum donation is required to attend. All proceeds go to Womens Health. Dinner and Wine included.
