A couple weeks ago we learned that a new Netflix series called Rustin would be filming this month:
“Rustin is an upcoming American drama film directed by George C. Wolfe from a screenplay by Dustin Lance Black and Wolfe. The story revolves around gay, civil rights activist Bayard Rustin, who organized the 1963 March on Washington.
The film is produced by Barack Obama and Michelle Obama’s production company Higher Ground Productions and will be distributed by Netflix.”
Joe writes this morning: “Some major film production happening at the Lincoln Memorial this morning. There was a helicopter filming overhead and some 1940s era vehicles. Anyone have details?”
