Fire at 14th and Buchanan injures one firefighter, displaces up to 6 from their home, severely damages Gedera Market

DCdawg writes: “Our neighborhood corner store didn’t survive the fireworks last night.

It was closed when fire started from fireworks around 12-1am. Everyone is safe but at least two people are displaced from their home.”

DC Fire and EMS reported:

“Update Working Fire 14th & Buchanan Sts NW. #DCsBravest have placed the fire under control. 1 civilian being assessed by EMS. @RedCrossNCGC notified for 2 displacements with possibly of 6 additional.
