“The CVS on Georgia Ave in Park View is closed until further notice!”

Georgia and New Hampshire Ave, NW

“Dear PoPville,

A few times in the last several weeks, my wife and I have tried to go to our closest CVS at Georgia and New Hampshire, but when we’ve approached the front door, there’s a hand-written sign in the window that says the store is closed at the moment, and the metal door is pulled down.

I know it’s not closed permanently, since I’ve been there between these times it’s (temporarily) closed, but why is the store closed at these random times (the latest occurrence was mid-afternoon today)? Why is there no explanation? Do you know what’s going on?

My family and I have a few prescriptions that we get filled there regularly, and our lives don’t depend on them, but what if they did and the store was closed for an indeterminate amount of time?”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
