Thanks to Jenna for sending: “As seen at Hains Point this morning. Apparently it crashed around 2am, and drifted about 30 yds into the river before it full sunk. Not sure what happened to the occupant(s).”
DC Fire and EMS reported: “DCsBravest Fireboats assisted @usparkpolicepio & @DCPoliceDept Harbor Branch in removing a vehicle that went into the Washington Channel overnight. The single occupant, an adult male, was rescued at the time of the incident and uninjured.”
