3215 Mount Pleasant St, NW
“Dear PoPville,
looks like a construction company is moving forward with a permit request to raze the laundromat on Mount Pleasant St. and replace it with a 4-story, 14-unit apartment building. I asked DCRA for the details and they sent me this:
“New construction of a new mixed-use 4-story building with approximately 1,100 SF of ground floor retail and 14 residential apartments. Total Area: 12,499 SF Zoning Commission Case 20298 . Raze of existing structure under R2100022. EISF 2000473. Raze of a one-story commercial building. The permit has to be reviewed, approved, and issued before any work can start. It could take up to 30 days more or less.”
As a resident who lives behind said building, I’m naturally not excited about the prospect. Hopefully more of the community feels the same way!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.
You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.
It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
