“The Fourth District is currently investigating the sounds of gunshots at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue NW and Rock Creek Church Road NW. Traffic is currently blocked in the South-East Bound Lanes to collect firearms evidence related to the sounds of gunshots.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by sending a text message to 50411.”

Alan Henney reported: “update: A second round of GUNFIRE was reported about the same time at New Hampshire Ave and Rock Creek Church Rd NW DC with more than 20 shots fired. There is damage there to an unoccupied auto but nobody found shot yet.”
