Today’s Rental was chosen for the dog on the couch, obviously (and the in unit washer/dryer)

This rental is located at 14th NW near Randolph. The Craigslist ad says:

“$2,095 / 1br – 765ft2 – Large sunny 1BR (765 sq ft)–May 1

Large 1 bedroom (765 sq ft) with tons of light, beautiful hardwood floors, and modern finishes in an open layout. The condo has an oversized bedroom with plenty of closet space; granite countertops and a kitchen bar; and an in-unit washer/dryer with central A/C and heat. With a walk score of 94, and across the street from Little Coco’s and the new Rue Café, plus a block from Red Derby, Lyman’s, Taqueria Habanero and more, this is in a great location that backs into Rock Creek Park. It is also next to the 14th/16th street bus lines and an equidistant walk to Georgia Ave Petworth and Columbia Heights metros. The Randolph Towers community includes a bike storage room, management on site with package pickup, and a new solar system on the roof. It is a pet friendly building and unit, with a local, responsive landlord. Water and trash removal are included, with the tenant responsible for other utilities. Please reach out to schedule a time to see the condo!”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
