“Dear PoPville,
I live at 16th and R streets NW and I’m used to a lot of street noise, but recently (as in right now, 7:56pm on 4/27) I’m hearing what sounds like a loud outdoor concert. It’s all good, I know I live in a city and expect the noise. But I’m honestly curious as to where it is coming from and if it is a regular program.
Or is it from a school nearby, possibly having marching band practice or like rodeo practice or Nascar practice or a football game. It is super loud and sounds well attended. I can’t really make out what is being said or sung.
And before anyone says, just go walk outside and find out, I don’t want to. I am home after working a long day and I want to chill. I’m just curious if anyone else in the area hears it and knows what’s up. Noise complaints will not be filed.
I’ll add, I do think I heard this one other night this week too.”
