Heidi Phelps’ Stand with Ukraine Poster Projected on the National Gallery of Art

Photos: Laura Beth Pelner, MVMT Catalyst

Thanks to Heidi for sharing with us:

“I collaborated with Backbone Campaign to project my Stand with Ukraine image on the National Gallery of Art and the Russian Embassy, as part of our public art protest in solidarity with Ukrainian resistance fighters.

Both projections took place on the same day Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the U.S. Congress asking for support.

To help raise funds for humanitarian aid in Ukraine, I’m launching an art fundraiser on my website, with two (so far) sets of limited-edition, signed and numbered, archival art prints for sale. 100% of the profits will go to Sunflower of Peace, a nonprofit organization providing medical and humanitarian aid used by paramedics and doctors in the areas that are affected by the violence in Ukraine.

If you want to buy a print for a good cause, check it out! Or, if you prefer to donate directly, I’ve compiled a (non-comprehensive) list of ways to do so.

Protest posters are still available for free download for anyone who wants to print ’em out and show their support.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
