Been missing the view of St. Dominic Church‘s majestic steeple from my SW apartment.
At night it strikes the skyline in spotlight, breaking the otherwise monotonous horizon of federal buildings – and reminding us people live here :) However, for a few weeks (months?) the spotlight is off. Why!?
The feature is truly missed. Wondering if anyone knows what’s up? Thanks in advance from us people in Southwest who live above the second floor and look Northeast.”
