“Message from Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA) regarding Convoy Demonstrations in the National Capital Region”

From HSEMA:

“The District of Columbia and its public safety agencies are aware of and prepared for potential demonstrations that may begin to disrupt travel on roadways in and around the National Capital Region as early as tomorrow and through the weekend. As a result, vehicle traffic may be affected, and businesses and other organizations could experience delays in incoming and outgoing deliveries as well as employee access during this time.

Please use caution if driving in impacted areas and expect delays in reaching your destination. If possible, delay traveling through these areas or consider using Metrorail. The Metropolitan Police Department may need to close certain roads in order to minimize the impacts of these demonstrations. For more information on disruptions to our roadways, please continue to monitor Alert DC for updates as they become available.

Mayor Bowser has been regularly briefed by public safety officials as we continue to monitor the situation closely. There are layered mitigation strategies in place, and District agencies remain in regular contact with local, regional, and federal partners.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
