The Bull Bar & Grill, “modern sport bar”, Opening Soon Uptown!!

4622 14th Street, NW at Crittenden

From the Bull Bar & Grill (planning on opening by the end of this month):

“Giving the community a place to feel at home continues to be tradition to the Cruz family lead by Maria who started her entrepreneurial journey in 1980’s NW Washington DC on 14th street in the Columbia Heights Neighborhood. Opening “Tienda La Union” then soon “Salon de Belleza”, Maria’s businesses did more than provide needed services; it was also representation for a community migrating to the district from Central-America, especially from her home of El Salvador. Years later, blessed by her success, “La Libertad” a restaurant and bar she added to her catalog of business ventures cemented her commitment to the area as a place where local businesses can thrive and prosper.

Now ready for some well-deserved leisure time, it her son’s turn to keep tradition going. “The Bull Bar & Grill” at the former location of “La Libertad” is Aldo Cruz’s vision of a modern sport bar with the Uptown NW DC feel that makes this part of the city so special for many. Opening 7-days a week for lunch and dinner, “The Bull” strives to not just be THE spot for any game, but also a true safe community space for all while providing job opportunities within the neighborhood. Whether it’s lunch time, your birthday, a business meeting, date-night or game-night “The Bull” is your destination for a memorable experience every visit.

With an expertly curated list of beers and cocktails compiled by General Manager & Beverage Director Miguel Prado there’s a selection for everyone. The Food program, led by Chef & Restauranter Omar Marroquin, features plenty of citrus, herbs and fresh ingredients influenced by his DC upbringing bringing dishes to life. The team born and raised in Columbia Heights, expect that unique DC-Latin influence to reflect throughout the business from menus, decor, events, and especially the staff. This is Aldo Cruz’s second venture in the neighborhood since opening “Toro Bar” at 3708 14th street NW Washington DC 20010, a popular bar and pool hall opened at the beginning of the pandemic 2020.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
