From an email:

“Falafel Inc. and Arepa Zone are officially open at Western Market. The market now has a total of seven tenants welcoming diners in Foggy Bottom.

Falafel Inc.
Offers classic Mediterranean flavors such as authentic vegetarian falafel, hummus, tabouli, and za’atar fries that can be enjoyed in a fresh baked pita or a bowl. “Eat for Good” is Falafel Inc.’s brand and movement that focuses on providing a menu with all-natural, fresh, and locally sourced ingredients. Additionally, Falafel Inc.’s partnership with the World Food Programme, a leading humanitarian food organization, gives diners the opportunity to not only eat award-winning, healthy and affordable food, but also with a purpose as each food purchase of $10 helps feed a refugee in need. Falafel Inc. is known for being a convenient and healthy destination for locals, commuters, and tourists to grab a quick on-the-go meal or to dine-in and enjoy an affordable, authentic Mediterranean dish.

Arepa Zone
What began as a bright yellow food truck in 2014, Arepa Zone now serves guests at locations in downtown D.C. and inside Audi Field. Best known for arepas, cachapas, and tequeños, the popular eatery offers authentic Venezuelan food to diners in Foggy Bottom with its latest expansion at Western Market. The large menu easily satisfies meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Aprepa Zone’s grand opening will be this Saturday, February 26.”
