SALAZAR is a multi-level bar, restaurant and event venue located in the bustling 14th Street NW corridor. SALAZAR provides a vibrant scene with four bars spanning three levels, daily happy hour specials, bottomless brunch and a variety of private event spaces with no room rental fees. The 8,000 square-foot venue features an expansive split-level rooftop with two bars, 12 big screen televisions, and a lower level with a dance floor and private bar. A large brass bell on the rooftop will be a source of constant entertainment, as patrons are challenged to hit it with shot glasses made out of ice.

Menu: SALAZAR offers more than 50 tequilas, many rare and hard to find, along with a variety of margaritas. Its food offerings include Tex-Mex favorites like nachos chicharrones, pulled pork carnitas and crispy pork belly tacos, black bean sopes, chimichurri steak quesadillas, Cubano pork belly sandwiches, and Mexican chocolate brownies.

SALAZAR will host a soft opening preview on January 14 and 15, followed by Thursday-Saturday hours through the end of the month until full service begins. Bottomless brunch, with bottomless margaritas, will begin in February. The spacious basement bar will host groups of all sizes for brunch, with platters of brunch items, bottomless drinks and a DJ to keep the party going. Chris Peters serves as General Manager.

Owners: SALAZAR is the latest project from Mission Group, which owns, develops and operates high-volume bar and restaurant concepts in Washington, DC. The group’s adage is “it’s more fun to eat in a bar than to drink in a restaurant.” As such, Mission Group venues are designed to foster a bustling bar scene, comfortable dining and versatile private event spaces. Mission Group also believes in providing an energetic late-night atmosphere with the best of DC nightlife, including the city’s top DJs. Owned by Fritz Brogan and Reed Landry and under the leadership of COO Stefan Vasilis, Mission Group venues include Mission Dupont (1606 20th Street NW), Hawthorne (1336 U Street NW), Mission Navy Yard (1221 Van Street SE) and The Admiral (1 Dupont Circle). In May, 2022, Royal Sands Social Club will open directly across from the main gate of Nationals Stadium in Navy Yard.”

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
