“Wanted to let you know a big cop operation is going down on 14th (14th & Swann St, NW). They’re waiting for people to walk in a cross walk and then pulling over all the people who don’t stop and get close to the pedestrian.
As someone who has almost been hit by someone plenty of times, I’m loving it.
Once a normal pedestrian would walk into the crosswalk, a plain clothed cop would join them. Any car that drove through the cross walk and was close to them, the cop would use their radio and cops would pull them over to the side. I think I saw like 5 cars be pulled over within 10 minutes”
