I recently had my bike stolen out of my garage–which I’d normally forget about (I’ve had many stolen, even when locked with the best of locks. It’s just DC life) except that it still appears to have an AirTag on it. It’s been at least two weeks and the AirTag still appears to be moving so I’m guessing it just hasn’t been noticed.
It has moved from an apartment complex in NW DC to another apartment complex in Maryland. My question is this: besides the obvious answer of just letting it go, is there anything I can do here? I can’t show up to an apartment complex and have the police raid the building obviously, but I’m wondering if anyone has had any prior experience with this sort of gray area.”
