Thanks to Allen for sending: “Caught these behind the 1800 block of 13th street NW last spring. Prior to flight up 4 stories to capture a rooftop perched pigeon. One of many pigeons that no longer come back behind 13th street. It snapped its neck in a fury of vertical flight maneuvers then dropped the body on a neighboring roof and continued hunting.”
