“QR codes are back at MyIR Mobile for DC residents”

Thanks to Fer for the heads up: “QR codes are back at MyIR Mobile for DC residents. Just added COVID-19 vaccination information to Apple Health and Wallet (and also tested it with the Commons Project app and it worked)”

From MyIR Support:

“Starting today you will be able to get a temporary SMART Health Card QR code for your COVID vaccination record in MyIR Mobile.

Per the SMART Health Card standards, only state agencies or vaccine providers can be listed on the CommonTrust Network as valid issuers of SMART Health Cards. We have been working closely with the CommonTrust Network to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. To provide our product team and connected MyIR states time to meet this requirement, you will be able to get a temporary SMART Health Card starting today.

This temporary SMART Health Card will be verified as valid through February 16, 2022. After February 17, 2022, SMART Health Cards may not be available in every state using MyIR due to the policy rules for SMART Health Cards that require states to be the issuer of the SMART Health Card.

What this means to you:

Log onto MyIR to get a temporary, valid MyIR-issued SMART Health Card QR code through February 16 (this QR code will expire at midnight on this date).
Log onto MyIR on February 17 to see if your state will be issuing SMART Health Cards. If it is, you will be able to get your new state-issued SMART Health Card for each dose.
If your state does not choose to issue SMART Health Cards, you may contact your state Department of Health for more information.

As always, through your MyIR Mobile account, you can always access a copy of your complete vaccination records, including any Covid-19 vaccines. In addition, in some states, an official state vaccination and school certificate are also available through MyIR Mobile. To use these certificates, MyIR Mobile users will need to show them as either digital PDFs or printed documents to prove immunization status.

Access to your records is our top priority. We understand the simplicity and convenience of needing your record in the right format, and we want to do everything we can to make this easy for you.

Thank you for your patience,

The MyIR Mobile Team

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
