Following last week’s news of the upcoming CVS closure in Penn Quarter comes news from U Street. Thanks to all who sent word CVS: “the CVS Pharmacy on 1000 U STREET NW, WA will be closing the pharm dept on 10/30. You can fill your Rxs at 1900 7 St NW or any other CVS Pharmacy”
While the note only mentions the pharmacy other readers sent word that the whole store was closing. This weekend I noticed a bunch of moving materials out front:
