Today’s Rental was chosen because I like how they highlight the unit in the photo and is that a murphy bed? I think that’s a murphy bed AND they cite a PoPville commenter AND they share a photo from the 1930s

This rental is located at 5th and M Street, NW. The Craigslist ad says:

“$1,450 / 350ft2 – Sunny Mt Vernon Square Studio (Mt Vernon Sq, Shaw, Chinatown)

Great studio with an even better location on M Street. 5 minute walk to Metro green/yellow line at Mt. Vernon Sq/Convention Center. The six-unit building is a recently renovated 1890 row house with lots of charm. It has an amazing south-facing bay window that provides ample sunlight.

Nearby Destinations Include:

The unit is owner-managed and a great option for a local professional wanting their own space in a desirable neighborhood. One PoPville commenter even writes: “M between 4th and 5th is one of the most beautiful blocks in Shaw.” Black and white picture is of the house in the 1930s!

1 month’s rent deposit and credit check needed. Available immediately, please email for questions and to set up a time to check it out.”

Ed. Note: PoPville is not affiliated with any ‘Rental of the Day’ properties. Rent at your own risk and proceed with caution as you would with all Craigslist listings.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
