“In June 2021, Gearin’ Up moved from Eckington to a larger location on Rhode Island Ave in Woodridge. In the new 3300 square foot space, Gearin’ Up aims to train more DC youth in bicycle mechanics and entry-level job skills and diversify the DC cycling scene.
The Grand Opening will take place Saturday, October 16, 12-6 PM. Entry is FREE with suggested $5 donation.
Activities include: Food trucks starting at 12 PM, Kids Bike raffle, Face painting, Portraits by professional photographers, Local DJ, and Refreshments.
