“Dear PoPville,
Just wanted to put this warning out there for other international travelers. I went to get Covid-19 tested at one of the DC sites on Saturday afternoon to ensure I’d have results for an upcoming trip that requires a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of the flight.
However, despite getting swabbed within the timeframe, DC just defaulted to the sample collected as Saturday 0000 local! As a result, the sample is now outside of the window! I’ve called the city and they can’t change it to reflect the actual time so now I need to urgently get another test in advance of my flight tomorrow morning. Seems like a bad system!
For others in the situation, please tell dc health to call labcorp by emailing about the situation to [email protected]! That’s the only way to fix it.”
