I biked to Union Market this evening and was dismayed to find the predictions had come true: while the sidewalks were devoid of scooters (great!), the bike racks were full of them.

My friend and I had a hard time making space for our bikes. Any update on when the scooter companies going to install extra racks?”

Parker writes: “DC’s new regulation requiring scooters to be locked to a pole or bike rack has only compounded problems with scooters in the city – both functionally and visually.”
