From MPD: “The First District is currently on the scene of a shooting. At approximately 3:19am, units responded to the 800 block of 3rd Street SE for a shooting.
Units located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound, displaying no visible signs of life. The 800 block of 3rd Street SE is closed in both directions. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact 202.727.9099 or send an anonymous text tip to 50411.”
