Beck asked: “I’m a vaccinated school employee and have symptoms and would like to be tested before returning to school Tuesday. Any quick PCR turnaround times? Most are booked and unavailable.”
The early replies:
“Sameday testing– multiple locations in the dmv including an outside site in wildwood plaza in bethesda”
“I second Sameday testing – they’ve been great with fast turn-arounds for PCR testing.”
“Urgent care enter of Arlington is great. I have used them several times. Also the at home ones from CVS and Walgreens are reliable and approved under FDA EUA. I’ve used them and the higher end one you do online with a video proctor to return to the states”
“Grubbs pharmacy!”
“I’m not sure if they are PCR tests, but Medstar Urgent Care does same day testing”
“You can get a free NAAT Rapid Test (NAAT is Nucleic Acid Amplification Test, which is the same technology PCR uses) at a CVS testing location on Maryland Ave SW. I got results in 28 mins. Check CVS website for appts, and good luck I’m sure this has to be stressful.”
“Go up to Burtonsville, MD. There is an Urgent Care that gives same day results, sometimes within 3 hours.”
“You can purchase a rapid test, like BinaxNow at your local cvs or Walmart. Take the test at home and have results in 15minutes.”
“Curative used to be the go-to for me”
