“Come get a taste of the Kennedy Center in your backyard as the National Symphony Orchestra takes over DC Department of Park and Recreation’s Emery Heights Community Center! This is a partnership with NSO’s “In Your Neighborhood” concert series.
Experience this free, full orchestral concert headlined by Joseph Young conducting a family-friendly program featuring vocalist and songwriter Imani-Grace Cooper performing alongside Kennedy Center Composer-in-Residence Carlos Simon. Arrive early to have to meet composer Carlos Simon and take part in a group mural painting to commemorate the event. RSVP today at DPR.events.
