Twice this week I was in a business that refused to accept cash. Once I was with a group of people in a bar and a foreign student couldn’t buy a beer because he didn’t even own cards. I bought it for him with my card. A few weeks back another group I was with in a cashless restaurant had areal ordeal with checks because a couple people had planned on using cash. Didn’t DC outlaw cashless businesses? What’s the deal here?”
