From the Mayor’s Office:

“The District’s reported data for August 17, 2021 includes 181 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 53,024.

The District reported that two additional residents lost their lives due to COVID-19.

66-year-old male

Tragically, 1,153 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

Below is a summary of the District’s current ReOpening Metrics.”
