“Tynan is by far my favorite coffee shop in DC (and honestly, ever!)”

14th and Irving St, NW

Thanks to Herbert for sending:

“When I move into a neighborhood, I really try to become a part of the community. My favorite thing to do is find coffee shops to try out and meet the staff. Before I moved to Columbia Heights, I visited a bunch of coffee shops.

Tynan is by far my favorite coffee shop in DC (and honestly, ever!), and holds an incredibly special place in my heart because it was the first place I dined indoors and sat into work after being fully vaccinated. The staff are incredibly friendly (shoutout to John, Leti, and Maria!),

their food is great (especially their power bagel, love bullfrog bagels and the BMT and grown-up grilled cheese), and I love their homemade syrups for lattes.

The staff is so personal, I brought my parents to the coffee shop and introduced them to the owner. It’s a lovely place, lovely vibe, favorite coffee, and super convenient since it’s right next to the west entrance of the Columbia Heights metro. It’s my go-to local coffee shop, and I can’t praise it or recommend it enough!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
