After seeing a bunch of teacher requests on Twitter for crowdfunding of their classroom needs for this fall, I went to https://www.donorschoose.org to see what kind of help might be useful to teachers in Washington DC. Unfortunately, this was the search result (above.)
Do you think you could put the word out to our hardworking local teachers? I’m sure there will be even more needs than usual this fall, and this is one way for teachers to get support for kids without spending their own money. I’ve supported teachers’ projects via Donors Choose before, and I believe it’s legit. Plus, you can give a little or a lot, and you can choose the kind of projects you’d like to support.
