“Help! My apartment management is asking way too much of us!”

“Dear PoPville,

My apartment building just announced that they would start shutting off our water supply between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. twice a week until “the plumbing work has been completed.” I fear that this will take weeks if not months!

I still work from home and think this is a pretty absurd thing to ask residents to be okay with without any kind of compensation. Has anyone else run into this issue before? Is it possible for me to ask for compensation or at least something to keep us residents happy?”
