“Officers responded and found 3 adults, 1 female and 2 males shot on different parts of their bodies.”

“On July 11, 2021 at approximately 11:00 pm, officers of the First District responded to the report of a shooting on the 1400 block of 1st Street SW. Officers responded and found 3 adults, 1 female and 2 males shot on different parts of their bodies.

Officers were able to rapidly render first aid by means of tourniquet application and applying pressure on open wounds. The victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

There is a partial look-out for a heavily tinted, dark gray vehicle with bright LED headlights that was seen fleeing at a high rate of speed from where the incident took place.

First District detectives are actively investigating this incident. If any member of the public has information or video of the incident, please contact the First District Detectives Office at (202)- 299-2025, or the Metropolitan Police Department’s Command Information Center at (202) 727-9099.”

“1D officers and detectives are wrapping up their on scene investigation of a shooting that occurred at the intersection of 2nd and E Streets NW. at about 4:45 PM today (Sunday.) An adult male was shot and transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Preliminarily, the only description of the suspect vehicle is a white 2000-2006 GMC Yukon SUV with an unknown operator. Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099 or anonymously text 50-411.”
