Thanks to AL for sending: “Serious accident at N. Capitol and Rock Creek Church Road around 8:20am, somehow that utility pole is still standing. There’s been such excessive speeding at this intersection recently.
SB North Cap is still closed, utility company trying to deal with the pole. Traffic routed via rock creek church rd. It took me more than a few seconds to process what the spiky stuff coming out of the ground was before realizing it was the completely splintered pole.”
