“an odd delivery problem?”

“Dear PoPville,

Does anyone have advice on who to contact at the Washington Post about an odd delivery problem? We subscribe to the WaPo and the WSJ. Two copies of the WaPo are delivered daily. It’s a recycling hassle. We only want one copy. And, the double paper business means that attempts to cancel newspaper delivery when we’re out of town fail. This has been occurring ever since a new delivery person took over the route, over a year ago. Emails to customer service hit the black box of nothingness.

Once someone replied to say we are only getting a single copy (incorrect). Newspapers are thrown from far enough away that a sign on our front door won’t do any good. The papers come hours before I wake up, so I haven’t spoken in person to the one who delivers. Any advice would be appreciated!”
